General Information

AGES is established in 2004 as a gathering of experts in the smart card industry and professionals from various related fields, members of AGES include leading specialists in payment systems security, IT security, contract management, systems development, project management as well as value added services like business development.

AGES is a pioneer in specialist services for the EMV field and we have been accredited by MasterCard to provide logical security audits in November 2005 and physical security audits in April 2008.  In March 2011, AGES is selected as an approved Visa Security Assessor to conduct on-site security assessments of Visa Approved Card Vendors.  In September 2015, AGES is also honoured to be selected as the first China UnionPay (CUP) accredited company to conduct various security certification assessments for CUP vendors.  In May 2017, AGES has also received the approval to be an American Express Security Assessor.  AGES has also vast experience in the setup and preparation of plants for security audits by mobile operators, banks and certification bodies.
In March 2013, AGES has also successfully achieved PCI QSA status and able to perform PCI Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) compliance audits.  This progress aligns with AGES’ goal to increase security awareness and compliance with payment systems security requirements.

As the only Asian owned company accredited by MasterCard GVCP, Visa AVP, American Express, China UnionPay and also a PCI DSS Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), AGES is able to successfully reach out to various payment systems and card vendors in the Asia Pacific region.
