   Vietnam International Commercial Joint Stock Bank, abbreviated as International Bank (VIB), was established on September 18, 1996, with its head office located at 111A Pasteur, Ben Nghe, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. On December 31, 2018, after 22 years of operation, VIB has become one of the leading joint-stock commercial banks in Vietnam with total assets of VND 139 trillion, charter capital has increased 157 times compared to the first day of establishment. equivalent to 7,834 billion dong, owner's equity reached more than 10,000 billion dong.   2010 marked an important event when Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) - Australia's No. 1 retail bank and the world's leading bank with over 100 years of experience officially became a shareholder. our strategy with an initial stake of 15%. After one year, on October 20, 2011, CBA completed an additional investment of VND 1,150 billion in VIB, increasing CBA's share ownership ratio in VIB from 15% to 20% in order to strengthen the capital base, system capital adequacy ratio, expanding business opportunities and operational scale for VIB. This strategic partnership allows us to successfully implement long-term plans in our business strategy and especially improve the quality of Customer Service in line with international standards.
