Data Analyst

Position: DATA ANALYST

Location: Selangor, Malaysia

Requirements:

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in performing Analyst role in building dashboards & reporting in Financial/Fintech or Telecommunications sector.

(Telecommunications, Data Analytics or Financial/Fintech sector.)

• Machine Learning or AI basic understanding is required
• Advanced level in computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
• Fluent competency in the English language (written and verbal).
• Ability to clearly articulate findings and recommendations to varying audience levels and form a view.
• Experience in handling large data sets that may or may not be fully sanitized.
• Prior experience in Tableau/QuickSight/Power BI or other data analytical & visualization tools.
• Robust and proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of the P&L and business planning process, with sound financial/accounting fundamentals.
• Strong leadership and talent management skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide visualisations and insights using hypothesis-driven approach, focusing

on the following core key business units, namely, Management, Product,

Marketing, Sales & Business Development, Loyalty & Finance.

2. Assist Data Scientists to develop AI or Machine Learning models to utilize big

data to facilitate MLM (Merchant Life Cycle Management), automate processes

and create a data-driven culture across the organization.

3. Provide actionable insights/recommendations from consumers’ & merchants’

perspective to senior leadership and working group to facilitate decision-making.

4. Inculcate a data-driven culture among Boost team members by providing

actionable insights and provide necessary analytics data.

5. Part of insights analysts developing skills in data extraction, analysis, business

intelligence and presentation/communication.

6. Build automated reports for cross-functional teams for the purpose of external

party such as BNM, Paynet & etc.

KEY RESULT AREAS

1. Improvement in Boost OKR parameters, namely Activation, NR and PAT.

2. Achieve Product or Project committed business case targets.

3. Support cross-functional team with analytical requirements within committed

timeline.
