Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will analyze, design, code, and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. You will perform maintenance, enhancements, and/or development work. Your typical day will involve analyzing requirements, designing software solutions, writing code, and conducting testing to ensure the quality of the application. You will collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues, as well as participate in code reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Collaborate with team members to analyze requirements and design software solutions. - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code to implement software solutions. - Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the quality and functionality of the code. - Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues reported by clients or identified during testing. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and industry trends to enhance skills and knowledge. - Assist in the maintenance, enhancement, and development of application code. - Document software designs, code, and test cases for future reference and knowledge sharing. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java Full Stack Development. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns. - Experience in developing and maintaining enterprise-level applications using Java EE. - Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Spring. - Familiarity with databases and SQL for data storage and retrieval. - Experience with version control systems like Git for code management. - Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition. - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years continuous education Computer Bachelor's degree in science or equivalent is required.
