Purpose of the job - The Software Test Engineer is a role in the DMI (Driver Machine Interface) team who is expected to have competence and experience in Software Engineering Testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.

You will perform software application testing, verification, and documentation for Safety critical embedded systems used globally. He or she shall have analytical skills to analyze the defects, review requirements documentation, perform impact analyses and root cause analyses. Additionally, the Software Tester will plan and create automated test scripts in Python, execute them and record outcomes. This work will be carried out as part of an agile Engineering Team based on scrum methodology.

Your future role (Key responsibilities):

Creation of Software Test Specifications, Test Plans, Test Report, Test Scripts, Requirement Traceability, Impact Analysis, Process documentation, and other product and safety relevant documentation.
Understanding ETCS System Requirement/Sub-System Requirement and implement Software and test artefact accordingly.
Perform root cause analyses and impact analyses.
Review/Verification of document and implementation.

All about you (Qualifications):

Bachelor's degree in software Engineer, Computer Engineer, or related field.
Experience in Robot testing framework, Automation testing, Embedded software testing.
Experience in documentation for testing.
Experience in Medical/aviation/ automotive industry will be preferred.
Rounded experience in Software Engineering.
Specialized or cross-functional knowledge / relevant experience required by the position/role.
Software Developer who has not limited his or her skill only Software developer but also has good background in Software Testing.
Safety critical system.
Knowledge of Requirement Management.
