Hybrid Working

Structured Hybrid Role

At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Please discuss the working pattern requirements for the role you are applying for with the hiring manager. Please note that as we continue to embed our hybrid working environment, we remain in a test and learn phase, which means that working arrangements may be subject to change on reasonable notice to ensure we meet the needs of our business.

Introduction

Group Treasury Technology is a Chief Information Office function, that is accountable for high quality, cost-effective change delivery and ‘Lights-on’ maintenance of the technology estate supporting Group Treasury, Treasury & Capital Risk CRO, Consumer Finance, Financial Control

What will you be doing?


  • Analysis of the data and interpret , provide meaningful insights on patterns and behaviours to make informed decisions
  • Understanding of database and provide efficient SQLs to retrieve data and interpret it
  • Work with multiple Technology , Functional and Business teams, across multiple geographical locations, and ensure delivered capability meets the scope and requirements agreed with business stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment of delivery processes to Agile methodology and DevOps
  • Foster team spirit among team members and colleagues in various geographical locations, participating in and contributing to programme


What We’re Looking For


  • Data Analysis experience (7-9 years) in Investment Banking, Capital Markets change / IT transformation projects
  • Tools/Technologies: Strong Sql, Advance Excel, Jira, Microsoft Visio, Power Point
  • Core competencies: Data Analysis, Business System Analysis, Requirement Gathering, Solution Validation, Data Driven Consulting.
  • Proven experience of end to end project delivery (Preferred)


Skills That Will Help You In The Role


  • Knowledge of Barclays technology landscape, and Barclays governance and control framework
  • Awareness or hands on experience working on Cloud technologies (Public and Private cloud)
  • Experience and knowledge of regulatory programmes and Treasury/Investment banking domain will be preferred
