Java Developer

* Participation and contribution in all phases of the project execution incl. requirement gathering, implementation, testing and handover phases as a member of the project delivery team

* Elicit and document customer requirements including business logic, workflows and user interfaces by conducting requirements workshops together with clients

* Assist the sales and pre-sales teams in the development of technical solutions, the estimation of required implementation efforts and the formulation of comprehensive proposals

* Train customers and partners on our products and solutions as and when required

* Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously

* Able to develop interfaces/application functionalities using Java, Spring, Hibernate, Restful, Web Services technologies

Qualifications

Experience:

* At least 3 years of practical experience with Java-based technologies.

* Proficient in the Spring framework and Spring MVC.

Language Skills:

* Confident in conversational English (both writing and speaking).

Technical Knowledge:

* Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) with practical experience in Unit Test.

* Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services integration.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Familiarity with eCommerce systems, particularly Hybris SAP.

* Nice to have knowledge of Design Patterns and Web Services: XML, XSD, XSLT, and JSON.
