Are you ready to accelerate the modernization of our systems and lead the transformation from monolithic applications to lightweight microservices? We are seeking a visionary Senior Technical Architect to drive the design and execution of technical solutions aligned with our business needs and fit-for-purpose products.

As a Senior Technical Architect, you will be a key point of reference within Service Logistics IT. You will develop business intimacy, automate technology stacks, support on-prem infrastructure, represent IT architecture standards, and provide technical consultancy to development teams.

The key responsibilities in this role include:

• Lead the design and execution of technical transformation: Drive the transition from monolithic applications to lightweight microservices, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and agility in our systems.
• Analyse emerging technologies and shape the IT architecture strategy: Stay at the forefront of technology trends, analyse on-prem and cloud products, and ensure the implementation of our IT architecture strategy.
• Demonstrate IT thought leadership: Showcase your expertise to our customers, design and implement technical product roadmaps, and ensure compliance with DHL's technical and security guidelines.
• Develop "Always Up" services: Collaborate with Product Owners and Project Teams to enhance and improve our services, ensuring uninterrupted operations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and define architecture requirements: Work closely with internal stakeholders and external customers to understand their needs, especially from a non-functional perspective.
• Create state-of-the-art technical specifications: Drive improvements in all aspects of the technical architecture, aligning with our Service Logistics strategy.
• Support solution design for SeLECT: Spend 30% of your time on solution design for SeLECT and provide technical support on day-to-day activities.
• Ensure technical quality control: Incorporate all parts of the technical design correctly, provide technical support throughout the product lifecycle, and maintain high-quality standards.
• Engage with the DSC software architecture group: Participate and present technical architecture to receive feedback and contribute to continuous improvements.

Now here's what we need from you:

• Strong knowledge of technical and network architecture, platform management, and automation
• Proficiency in requirements analysis, software development, and database administration
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure library (ITIL) v4
• Excellent business acumen, project management, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to influence and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
