We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic Business Analyst with Cloud ERP and EPM application skills. Join the team and shape the future SAAS/PAAS ecosystems for Enterprise applications. Equinix offers wide-ranging opportunities in Information Technology. It is currently implementing Oracle SaaS-PaaS ERP application ecosystems. Enterprise Applications -The corporate team at Equinix focuses on implementing the next-generation software applications for Equinix to scale and support the Equinix internal ecosystems.
As Business Analyst in the Corporate application division, you would be working on some of our latest ventures to Support and Enhance cutting-edge SaaS business applications. You will be helping us with coordination, documentation, test execution, conducting POC, post-production maintenance, and support of the Oracle Cloud SaaS enterprise application production support and continuous improvement of the application landscape.
This position acts as a critical liaison between the company’s financial functions including Corporate Controllership, Regional Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Business Assurance and the company’s IT organization.
Responsibilities
- Provides first line support to users of financial systems including:, Responding to business user queries, Providing one-on-one support, explanations, and guidance to users regarding finance operations, Triaging data issues, process issues, and user errors prior to escalating to IT, Performs Mock close on financial systems
- Take the lead role in: Assisting with the business case, Planning and monitoring, Eliciting requirements, Requirements organization, Translating and simplifying requirements, Requirements management and communication, Requirement’s analysis
- Provides Adhoc training to various financial users on key financial applications
- Liaise with IT and business users to define and prioritize business related issues associated with systems
- Partner with other system owners to ensure data quality, timing, and financial reporting impacts are fully understood
- Execute System integration testing
- Coordinate user acceptance testing for new system or enhancement releases. This involves assistance with creation of test cases and follow-up to ensure users complete testing per the schedule
- Learn and adapt to new technologies in a short duration
- Work with the team of analysts and leads implementing new cloud business applications for Equinix
- Assist in Implementing product features/proof of concept code that Equinix could use to expand its business objectives and application landscape
- Assist in design, implementation, and testing the agreed process
- Assist in coordinating the activities on the Application Management services
Qualifications
- Worked in oracle fusion ERP application modules like GL, FA, AP, AR, CM, FCCS, EDMCS, TRCS, ARCS and Projects
- Worked as Oracle Application Support analyst
- Basic programming ability with at least one programming language
- Good analytical and problem-solving ability
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, IT or related field
- 4-8 years of experience working within the finance and accounting organization of a large multinational company
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities
- Willingness to travel occasionally if needed
- Preference to computer science, mathematics, Accounting and related fields of study
