Job Title – Lead - Software Engineering
The Value you deliver
Mutual Funds/Alternate Investments within R4 is part of the Core Brokerage Platform Domain. This area plays a critical role in supporting the production brokerage platform. The R4 Responsive area is responsible for supporting mainframe, distributed and Cloud technologies for processing applications. The team supports all lines of business across Retail and Institutional businesses.
The Purpose of Your Role
Our team in the Responsive / R4 area is responsible for supporting the production environment for mission critical products and applications. This role will have an opportunity to work with Mainframe Distributed and cloud technologies.
The Skills That Are Key To This Role
- Solid Hands-on experience in Cobol, JCL, CICS, Control-m, VSAM, DB2 SQL and Oracle SQL, BO reports.
- Hands on experience in support of mainframe application and technologies.
- Hands on experience in Java and UNIX
- Basic knowledge with AWS EKS and AWS managed solutions such as lambda, dynomodb, api gateway, SQS, ec2, s3, CloudWatch, IAM roles / polices, etc.
- Hands on experience in Rest based microservices particularly spring boot applications
- Hands on experience working with EDA solutions such as Kafka / MQ / AWS SNS, etc.
- Experience in supporting Micro Services Architecture and building / deploying highly automated, scalable and maintainable infrastructure.
- Knowledge with CD process and tools, testing frameworks and practices (preferably GitHub, Jenkins, Stash, Artifactory, Terraform, etc.)
