Responsibilities/ Daily tasks you will take care:

• Create new automation engineering scripts for test data creation, in-sprint testing of new functionality, automated shakeout testing of the continuous integration pipeline, and robust automation engineering regression testing.
• Collaborate within the automation engineering team in delivering high quality changes.
• Participate in and contribute to inceptions, estimates and analysis.
• Plan and execute tests to validate the systems, build up regression test suite and validate business process flows.
• Maintain and extend the platform test automation framework and test assets.
• Monitor the build and test pipeline and reporting & troubleshooting and daily failures.
• Participate in and contribute to review activities such as peer review of tests scripts, reviewing requirements, shoulder-checks for code, developer walkthroughs etc.
• Ensure testing activities are carried out in accordance with the organisation’s agreed standards, methods and procedures.
• Communicate and report on testing activities to the automation lead.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of work practices and the quality of the systems.

Requirements/ Desired skills and experience

Must have:

• Proficiency with Java programming languages
• Documenting process flows & test cases.
• Minimum 2 years automation testing experience
• Proven experience working on large agile projects
• Must understand automation requirements and how to write the test cases accordingly
• Experience analysing business scenarios for automation testing
• Designing automation test scripts
• Experience in Automation Testing tools using Selenium with Java
• Ability to monitor test case execution results
• Participate in automation engineering and improvement activities
• Ability to Interpret results and graphs
• Identify suggestions for the automation framework enhancement
• Good English communication

Education and Certifications:
