Key Responsibilities:

Understand the broader business strategy and defines a Cloud architecture to support the broader business strategy, including defining scope, implementation and test plans
Determine third party technologies to leverage in customer driven architectures, based upon product knowledge, industry experience, standard enterprise architecture frameworks (such as microservices)
Apply broad technical skills, with deep industry knowledge and business acumen, support sales and presales team in developing optimized Cloud Solutions that promote customer’s business strategy goals on digital transformation and cloud adoption
Provide technical advisory on architecture design, planning, implementation, and configuration of Cloud and on-premises infrastructure services
Support in developing proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs)with presales and engagement team. Develop effort estimates and work-breakdown
Understand the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for enterprise, function as an advocate for internal and customer to recommend the right Cloud platform and cloud journey
Lead the deployment, configuration, monitoring, testing and management tasks associated within the Cloud and on-premises infrastructure projects
Troubleshoot and performs root cause analysis as well as implementing corrective/preventive actions when needed
Define and document best practices and operational procedures regarding solution deployment and infrastructure maintenance to ensure a smooth handover to customers or managed services team
Perform periodic after-hours/weekend support for escalation when required

Requirements

Deep technical hand-ons experience in infrastructure design, build and deployment, including hybrid, private and public cloud, networking, storage, virtualization and security controls
Understanding the well-architected frameworks to create a secure, high-performing, resilient and efficient infrastructure with a proven track record
Experience in other competencies such as DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker Kubernetes), and configuration management tools (Terraform, Ansible)
Knowledge on Hybrid and Multi-Cloud, including on premise and Hyper-scaler Cloud platform (AWS, Azure)
Proven with at least 5 years of experience in cloud platforms and on-premises solutions implementation
Prior experience in deploying cloud services and supporting Government Community Cloud (GCC) environment will be preferred
Cloud (AWS, Azure), Virtualization (VMWare, Xen, Hypervisor), Microsoft (MCSA, MCSE) and ITIL certification are highly desirable
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly to keep abreast of rapid technology advancement
Good Interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Diploma/bachelor’s degree in information technology, engineering, or related field
