The Singpass team builds Singapore’s digital identity system. This includes various personal authentication protocols, data sharing tools, and corporate identity systems through Corppass. The team’s mission is to provide reliable digital identity infrastructure that streamlines transactions, enables businesses, and protects against fraud.

We are seeking a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in DevOps practices and a passion for automating software delivery processes. Candidates who have basic experience with backend or mobile development would be a plus.

What you will be working on:

1. DevOps Practices:
1. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for mobile app development (iOS and Android).
2. Collaborate with test automation and engineering teams to streamline development and deployment practices.
3. Ensure security compliance for mobile applications, particularly in the CI/CD and deployment process.
4. Use CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps) to streamline software delivery.
2. Infrastructure Management:
1. Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
2. Configure and optimize servers, databases, and networking components.
3. Implement monitoring and alerting systems to detect and resolve issues.
4. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
3. Security:
1. Ensure the security of mobile applications and backend services.
2. Implement appropriate security measures to protect data and prevent unauthorized access.
4. Backend Development:
1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services using appropriate technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java).
2. Collaborate with engineers to define and implement APIs and data structures.
3. Optimize backend performance and ensure data integrity.
4. Integrate backend services with mobile applications using RESTful APIs or other communication protocols.
5. Ensure seamless data synchronization and user experience.
   

What we are looking for:


Qualifications:

1. Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
2. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and cloud platforms.
3. Knowledge of database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
4. Experience with basic backend development (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java).
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
