What You Will Do
The Quality Assurance Engineer’s role is to provide quality assurance oversight and support business solutions that deliver a high-quality customer experience. This individual will be responsible for writing test plans and scripts, tracking defects and fixes in product and software application development. Performs at the highest technical level of all phases of software lifecycle activities. Works at direction of manager or Team Lead to monitor and report data or software quality issues within the products supported by the team.
What You Will Need
- 3-5 years’ experience in Software Development Lifecycles and QA methodologies
- Experience with any Test Case Management Tool such as TestRail, Quality Center, Azure DevOps Test Manager, etc.
- Good knowledge in writing SQL queries and understanding of database structures
- Experience with issue, user story, bug and other work item tracking using tools such as Jira, Azure Devops, or similar
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English language)
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting/problem solving, and time management skills.
- Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and demands
What Would Be Nice To Have
- Experience testing API’s using tools such as SoapUI, Postman, etc.
- Experience automating tests using automated testing tool such as Selenium, SmartBear TestComplete, Tricentis Tosca, Eggplant, Katalon, etc.
- Ability to write scripts using any scripting language such as Python, JavaScript etc.
- Specific experience with SmartBear TestComplete or ReadyAPI
- Specific experience using Jira to manage user stories and bugs
- Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment
- ISTQB Foundation level certification or higher
- Experience testing ETL processes
