Senior Business Analyst – Data Warehouse /Data Mart

Summary: To deliver projects, enhancements and support BAU as an IT Business Analyst throughout the entire lifecycle, working closely with various stakeholders from Business and IT.

Responsibilities

• Gather, document and analyze user requirements.
• Estimate, plan and track all user requests.
• Clarify requirements and manage scope and stakeholder’s expectation.
• Liaise with source system SMEs to understand the business logics of the data and translate them into Source to Target Data Mapping document.
• Analyze source data and provide inputs on the handling of data anomalies.
• To work closely with the various Business and IT stakeholders to deliver projects, enhancements and day-to-day BAU activities.
• Prepare SIT test plan, write and execute SIT test cases and test scripts, manage defects and support UAT.
• Highlight and report any potential risks.

Skills Requirement

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/IT /Engineering/related discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience as a business analyst in building a Data Warehouse or Data Mart, ideally for Banking/Insurance domain.
• Ability to write complex SQL scripts, test cases and perform high quality testing.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Good attitude and self-driven, able to plan and execute projects/deliveries with minimal supervision.
