Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description

HCID would like to hire a Sr. DevOps Engineer which will focus on automating and streamlining the software delivery process. This role involves implementing DevOps practices to ensure efficient, reliable, and continuous delivery of software products.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Designing, Implementing, and maintaining CI/CD Pipelines.
• Developing and maintaining automation scripts using languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Managing infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools i.e Ansible, Terraform.
• Implementing monitoring and logging solution using Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk.
• Participating in every phase of software lifecycle, including development phase.
• Ensuring security best practices are integrated into the CI/CD pipelines.
• Responding to and resolving incidents and outages in a timely manner.
• Continuously assessing and improving DevOps practices, tools, and processes.

Minimum qualifications:

• Fluent in English communication.
• Experienced as a software developer/system administrator or DevOps Engineer.
• Full understanding of DevOps concepts.
• Writing specifications and documentation.
• Active usage of CI/CD management tools and automation.
• Working with automation services and platforms with scripting and coding experience and the knowledge of several programming languages.
• Knowledge of microservices and cloud services.
• Knowledge and experience in database systems - as at the deployment stage devops engineer works with data processing, which requires experience with both SQL or NoSQL database models.
• Having knowledge and experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
• Candidate should be a team player and a team leader at the same time.
• Having certification is a plus: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Google Professional DevOps Engineer.
