Roles & Responsibilities

GCP Administration:

Manage and configure GCP resources, including Compute Engine instances, App Engine, Cloud Storage buckets, Cloud SQL databases, and Cloud Networking components (VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, etc.).
Implement security best practices for GCP resources, including IAM permissions, access controls, and resource monitoring.
Monitor GCP resource health and performance, identify potential issues, and troubleshoot problems.
Perform backups and disaster recovery procedures for critical GCP resources.
Stay up-to-date on the latest GCP services and features.

Terraform Scripting

Design, develop, and maintain Terraform scripts to automate the provisioning and management of GCP infrastructure.
Ensure Terraform scripts adhere to best practices for IaC, including modularity, reusability, and version control.
Integrate Terraform scripts with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Collaborate with developers and other IT professionals to define infrastructure requirements for Terraform scripts.
Troubleshoot issues related to Terraform deployments and configuration management.

Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of experience in cloud administration, preferably with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Proven experience managing and configuring various GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Cloud Networking etc.).
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools -Terraform.
Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python for scripting automation tasks.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
