As a Product Manager professional in our Corporate sector, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm
Your team will be the Planning & Analysis Innovation and Transformation Team that is tasked with defining the book of work by coordinating with senior management and stakeholders across Financial Analysis, Corporate Technology, and lines of business. The Team partners with Corporate Technology to ensure quality delivery of solutions by leveraging an Agile software development lifecycle. Product Management is also responsible for executive messaging to highlight accomplishments, communicate business cases, and when necessary, escalate issues to senior leadership across Financial Analysis, Technology, and other Finance/Planning & Analysis lines of business.
As the Innovation and Transformation Product Manager - Associate, you will be responsible in defining and launching the next generation of forecasting solutions and capabilities for model developers and end users of the forecasting product. They develop the multi-year feature-based roadmap and break roadmaps down into development and release plans. You will take ownership of day-to-day project delivery, as well as maintain relationships across multiple levels of the firm.
Job Responsibilities
- Process Improvement: Identify, analyze, and lead process improvements and change management on a continual basis for forecasting product
- Customer Engagement: Analyze what customers need and want and use prioritization techniques to determine which features or products would meet those demands.
- Partnership: Partner with peers and product managers across Financial Analysis, with Technology counterparts, and with Line of Business (LoB) stakeholders across the firm to gather feedback on the roadmap, execute on the Book of Work, and manage key program cross-dependencies.
- Communication: Develop a communications strategy to market the product
- Refine the Backlog: Document requirements and lead backlog refinement sessions by breaking Epics down into user stories.
- Resolve Issues: For areas of the product that you own, support triaging and issue resolution to meet end user’s needs before ultimately operationalizing them for handoff to BAU support.
- Report Status: Provide on-time and accurate reporting, as well as ongoing updates to all project team members and notify all stakeholders of any shifting priority upfront to allow for informed decision making
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related majors
- 5+ years of financial management and/or planning experience in a complex financial organization; Finance, Transformations and Planning & Analysis experience preferred
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple projects and initiatives at same time
- Strong leadership skills with experience working in a demanding global environment
- Strong influencing and partnering skills with a proven ability to execute on large-scale initiatives
- Ability to identify and mitigate risk based on company and industry guidelines
- Demonstrates flexibility, teamwork, and ability to work in a fast-moving environment. Must be detail oriented and maintain professional behavior under stressful situations
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Demonstrated experience with agile product planning, issue resolution and negotiation
- Data analysis experience with a passion for technology
- Knowledge of and/or experience using programming and query languages (e.g., SQL, Python)
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff
