MicroSec (www.usec.io) is looking for a technically inclined candidate with leadership skills for its fast-growing IoT & OT Cybersecurity. This person should be naturally very curious, loves technology, and is forward-thinker. This person will oversee technical aspects, guides architectural decisions, and empowers the development team, ensuring effective communication and successful delivery for MicroSec’s IoT cybersecurity products.

What you’ll do

Leading the Core Cybersecurity Technical Team

• Define, manage and execute against the product and project roadmap
• Write high quality code and scripts to achieve product roadmap and integration between components
• Work with product owner to prioritize development and ensure that high-quality product is shipped on time
• Lead the technical team to support development on Backend, Frontend, Cloud, DevOps and Embedded
• Resolve issues faced by the team and support related activities
• Play a key role in defining the architecture and engineering guidelines for the development team, and driving engineering practices based on these guidelines
• Play the role of a cybersecurity leader and evangelist

Technical Operations

• Manage the technical infrastructure of the company
• Manage on-prem and cloud applications associated with the company’s product and services
• Building fault-tolerant architecture for the product and associated infrastructure
• Drive adoption of the common framework and champion the cause of reuse across various product features

Technical Market Research

• Conduct market research to guide product strategy and identify opportunities for new products and use cases
• Design and development of customer friendly solution
• Execute product launches and go-to-market by working with marketing to produce compelling content and sales enablement assets
• Evangelize product and drive customer adoption

Who you are

• You have a Degree in Computing / Computer Science / Engineering or a related domain from a reputed University
• You have over 3 years of experience in managing a technical team of software developers
• You have over 6 years of experience in writing codes and building infrastructure
• You have a proven track record of working with cloud-based systems including AWS, Azure etc. and with on-prem server management
• You are experienced in Python, Linux Shell, DevSecOps & Gitlab CI/CD
• You are experienced in OpenSSL, TLS, PKI and related cybersecurity technologies
• You are experienced in IDS, Firewall, and Network devices including Switches and Routers
• You have proven track record of building solution architecture
• Experienced in Agile Scrum development methodology
• Ability to translate complex topics such as cryptography and machine learning into easy-to-understand value props
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
• Excellent verbal communication and writing skills required
• Drive, self-motivation and a desire to excel
• Product management experience with a B2B product a plus
