You will play a critical role in driving creation, optimization, and maintenance of Owned Media for Mondelez brands. Owned media includes brand.com and B2C ecommerce-related assets. The person needs to have strategic thinking on driving consumer engagement, data monetization & business value from owned assets that is aligned with the brand vision to drive sustainable growth.

How You Will Contribute

You will work with others in Mondelēz International to emonstrate strategic thinking weaving in brand and marketing objectives for brands in the MDLZ portfolio that can be delivered via owned media and ecommerce.

  • Owned media: Collaborate cross functionally (internally and externally) to accelerate the digital owned media strategy that enables MDLZ to unlock identified unlock business use cases over the Strategic Planning horizon (3-4 years).
    • Deliver content plans and SEO best practices.
    • Deliver a marketing plan to drive always on resonance with consumers through campaigns leveraging POEM (paid, owned and earned media) synergies.
    • Outlining and deploying actions against the Owned media KPIs which covers consumer data acquisition, segmentation, and activation goals.
  • eCommerce: Translate a business plan that delivers the annual contract commitments & growth targets:
    • Deliver best-in-class Ecommerce Content Scores aligned with MDLZ Flywheel framework to aid shelf maximization and drive organic revenue in sales.
    • Optimize ecommerce content in line with emerging trends & seasonality for onsite and offsite SEO excellence.
    • Drive the Content Creation and best practice for Social Commerce together with marketing/markets.

More About This Role

Digital Owned Media Strategy:

  • Lead the operations and deployment of strategy for strategic Owned Media properties for Mondelez brands by working closely across marketing, CX, ecommerce and agencies.
  • Maintain P&L and pipeline for next 48 months on current and proposed media tech stack ambitions with CX and MDS.


Production and Activation

  • Propose and agree on the production timeline, cost, and way of working.
  • Work closely with agency to deliver the digital product quality and success metrics.
  • Content – Ensure all product content is best in class with key search terms, images identified and implemented.
  • Activation – Create, execute, and track annual activation calendars through collaboration and building with Marketing and Category Planning teams.
  • Regular maintenance, key learning update to stakeholders.


Annual Planning & Targets

  • Establish KPIs in year across teams for ecommerce and owned media excellence.
  • Create robust bottom-up plan to track & deliver the KPIs for ecomm content & owned media health.
  • Digitise tracking of POEM contributors to owned and ecommerce platforms
  • Effectively manage end to end budget planning and execution on an annual and monthly basis.
  • Review performance and course correct through agile sprints with cross function teams.
