Overview: Newgen Software is seeking a proactive and experienced Product Manager with a strong background in the Trade Finance domain. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of trade finance products, supply chain financing, and related technologies. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for leading product development initiatives, overseeing presales activities, driving solutioning efforts, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Newgen's Trade Finance and SCF solutions, aligned with market demands and customer needs.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends in the Trade Finance and SCF domain, staying abreast of competitor offerings.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to drive product development from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer requirements.
- Lead presales activities, including product demonstrations, workshops, and presentations to prospects and clients, showcasing Newgen's Trade Finance and SCF capabilities.
- Engage with key stakeholders and customers to gather feedback, validate product features, and prioritize enhancements based on market insights.
- Work with solution architects to define technical requirements and ensure feasibility of solutions in the Trade Finance and SCF space.
- Monitor product performance, analyze metrics, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product usability, scalability, and customer satisfaction.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) internally and externally, representing Newgen at industry conferences, events, and forums.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (8-12 years) in Product Management within the Trade Finance / SCF domain, preferably in software solutions for financial institutions or fintech companies.
- Strong understanding of trade finance products such as LCs, guarantees, documentary collections, and SCF solutions like supply chain financing, invoice financing, and dynamic discounting.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing product lifecycle from ideation to launch, with experience in Agile methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach, able to translate market insights into actionable product plans and initiatives.
- Experience in solutioning and interacting with clients in a pre-sales capacity is desirable.
