About The Team

At Nutanix, you will be joining the SaaS Engineering team, a group of 9 talented individuals spread across India. Our team fosters a collaborative and supportive environment where every team member's ideas are valued and encouraged. You will report to the Software Development Engineering Manager who values transparency, growth, and teamwork. As part of the team, you will benefit from a hybrid work setup, allowing for a healthy work-life balance. You will be required to visit the office three times a week, giving you the opportunity to collaborate with team members in person and build strong relationships.

There are no travel requirements for this position, allowing you to focus on your work and contribute effectively to the team's success.

Your Role

• Design and develop reliable, efficient, high-performance software for large-scale enterprise and hybrid cloud.
• Develop innovative solutions for customer requirements in complex distributed systems.
• Write clean and scalable code on both backend and frontend using Java, Spring, and related technologies.
• Translate requirements into design specifications and solid code.
• Create well-architected REST APIs.
• Analyze data using SQL skills to build NLP models for SQL translation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments.
• Collaborate with teammates in technical design discussions.
  
  

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor and/or Master in computer science OR related field of study
• 2+ years experience with Back end and front end development of Cloud/SaaS Applications
• Proficiency in Java, Spring
• Understanding of Micro services, queues, and distributed architectures
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript and familiarity with React and Angular
• Writing efficient, scalable, and clean code in front end with unit and integration tests
• Familiarity with HTML and CSS
• Fluency with SQL/NoSQL databases like Postgres, MongoDB, or Cassandra
