Job Description
In this role you will need to:
- Work with Kubernetes, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana, Java, Python, Shell scripting and other modern SaaS technologies
- Participate in projects involving people of many different disciplines: Engineering, Cloud, Networking, CI/CD, Project management, Monitoring, alerting etc.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Linux, networking, CI/CD, and large cluster management and automation.
- React to production deficiencies by continuously implementing automation, self-healing, and real-time monitoring to production systems
- Able to work in a distributed team across the globe.
- Stay informed of new technologies and Innovate
- Work on a rotational basis over weekend as on-call

Responsibilities
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science / Electronics / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 4 to 8 years of experience in Site Reliability, Customer Support and Incident and Problem management
- Excellent Communication skills
- Prior experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, or equivalent
- Excellent customer support experience, Problem, Incident and change management
- Excellent debugging/ Troubleshooting skills using Linux, Kubernetes, Cluster management.
- Monitoring and Alerting Experience using ELK, Prometheus and Grafana
- Scripting experience using Python, Shell and Ansible
- Working knowledge and troubleshooting skills on Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Python code base maintenance
- Ability to both work independently with minimal direction and to collaborate effectively with local or remote teams with a strong customer focus
- Knowledge of Autonomous DB, RDBMS, SQL/PLSQL, Oracle Enterprise Manager, Agile (Kanban) will be a big plus.
- Should have a very positive attitude, willing to extend in time need, collaborate with team members in India and globally as well as have a cheerful disposition
