Core Responsibilities

Implement, maintain, and optimize DevOps processes, tools, and security measures in Azure and multi-Cloud environments to support engineering teams in delivering secure, reliable and efficient products.

Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployments.

Support architects with design choices that consider security, scalability, and maintainability within Cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.

Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement among technical and business teams.

Research and utilise modern technologies to meet product requirements, compliance, and controls to enhance OSB’s Cloud adoption.

Analyse system performance and recommend improvements to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

Maintain the company’s compliance standards and ensure timely completion of all mandatory on-line training modules and attestations.

Ensure that you understand and comply with the organisation’s Risk Management Policies as they relate to your area of responsibility and demonstrate in your day-to-day work that you put customers at the heart of everything you do.

Experience Requirements

5+ years in a DevOps Platform Engineer or related role.

Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Hands-on experience with at least one programming language, such as Python or Java, following best practice principles around clean code and understanding the principles of secure coding.

Experience in a DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code route-to-live environment.

Experience working with Azure technologies, including Azure Repos Git repository, Azure Pipelines, Azure Artefact Feeds, Azure Key Vault, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Container Registry.

Experience with Key management tools such as Azure Key Vault and Cloud-native PKI is desirabl.

Knowledge Requirements

Understanding of common workflows, such as Git Workflow in a DevOps environment, Azure Repos Git repository, and Azure Pipelines.

Knowledge of Compute, containers, serverless, virtual machines, run-time security, AKS and Azure Container Registry.

Knowledge of technologies such as AppGateway, APIM, OWASP, SAST, SCA, DAST, WAF, Gradle, Nx, Docker, JIB, Trufflehog, Trivy, SonarCloud, Azure Artefact Feeds and Azure Key Vault is desirable.

Proficient in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.

Knowledge of Cloud auditing, logging and monitoring best practices.
