Java Developer with FinOps expertise

About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Backend Developer with expertise in FinOps to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, system architecture, and cloud computing, with a specific focus on financial operations and optimization. This role requires a hands-on approach to developing and maintaining scalable microservices, designing robust APIs, and ensuring the seamless deployment and operation of applications on cloud platforms.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the development of high-quality, scalable microservices using Java or Kotlin
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, code reviews, and best practices
• Design and architect new systems and enhance existing ones
• Apply design patterns and architectural principles
• Deploy and manage workloads on AWS, particularly using Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)
• Experience with other cloud platforms such as Google Cloud or Azure is a plus
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs
• Ensure robust integration with other systems and services
• Architect and manage databases including Redshift, Aurora, DynamoDB
• Integrate with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Work with API management platforms, gateways, and IAM products
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure the operational stability of applications
• Mentor and lead engineering teams, providing technical guidance and support

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• 5+ years in full software development life cycle, including coding, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
• 3+ years in leading design or architecture of new and existing systems
• 5+ years in developing microservices using Java or Kotlin
• 2+ years deploying and running workloads on AWS, preferably using EKS
• Good programming experience with at least one software programming language
• Experience designing and writing REST APIs
• Expertise in architecting and building web services and databases
• Experience with products related to APIs and IAM
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Experience with automation and orchestration tools
• Goot to have experience with FinOps industry and Experience with product management
