Responsibilities:
Lead the design and impact analysis of all new features and enhancements on SAS Viya
Lead all aspects of Software Development Lifecyle (SDLC) in-line with Agile and IT craftsmanship principles.
Identify methods to sustain and improve various craftsmanship areas.
Lead the timely delivery of assigned artifacts with defined quality parameters.
Perform code review and ensure the quality of code, constantly.
Automate manual tasks of application maintenance and support to improve efficiency.
Lead initiatives of application modernization.
Ensure constant review and update of Agile and DevOps practices.
Constantly learn new/emerging technologies and mentor teams.
Monitor the overall production processes such as daily checks, open tickets and aging of issues.
Collaborate with customers, partners, development teams, chapter and feature teams.
Co-ordinate with development team and implement audit recommendations.
Lead DevOps chapters and Guilds.
Guide the team on data processing solutions and building data pipelines.
Identify new areas of technology and use cases for data validation and implementation.
Profile Required:
5+ years of experience and hands on experience in SAS Viya tool development
Hands on experience of usage of SAS Base, SAS Advanced concepts - procs and macros
Hands-on experience with at least 2 years in one or two of the SAS technologies module –SAS CAS, SAS Studio, SAS Visual Analytics (VA) or DI (Data Integration Studio)
Hands-on experience of on ETL Development , writing and optimizing SQL queries
Basic hands-on Python scripting
At least 2 years of experience of UNIX shell Scripting, schedulers
Good to have Prior experience of working with CI/CD tools (Maven, Git, jenkins)
Professional attitude: Self-motivated, fast learner, team player, independent, ability to handle multiple tasks and functional topic simultaneous

Exposure to Agile methodology and Technical documentation
Detail oriented and diligent in delivery – strong balance of technical and soft skills
Should have exposure to communicate and work with business clients on a frequent basis
