During this minimum 12-week summer programme, your focus will be in one of the areas reflected below and at the same time, you will be fully immersed in the Temasek culture.

We are looking for undergraduate students graduating in Dec 2022 to Mid-2023.

Dev Ops Engineering Intern
We are looking for Software Engineers with an interest in developing highly available and scalable systems that are robust to a variety of operational challenges. Partnering closely with other team members in an agile setup, the candidate will develop software and tooling for digital initiatives, leveraging big data, machine learning and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop software and tooling to make web / mobile apps resilient in the face of outages and disruptions caused by the network or application infrastructure.
- Develop software and tooling to improve the observability and monitoring of backend microservices
Requirements
Minimum Requirement
- Development knowledge and experience in Golang, JavaScript and/or Python
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good grasp of key computer science and software engineering concepts including but not limited to software design patterns, application security, performance, unit testing etc.
Preferred Requirement
- Domain knowledge of containers and associated tools in the orchestration and monitoring space including but not limited to Kubernetes, OpenShift, Terraform, Prometheus, Kibana and Grafana.
- Experience with AWS / Google Cloud / Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD practices and systems (e.g. git flow, trunk-based development, fan-in-fan-out deployment pipelines, etc.).
