Senior Frontend Engineer (React)

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer with a strong emphasis on frontend experience to join our dynamic team to continually expand our live interactive educational product.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of the frontend architecture, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
• Collaborate with the backend team to integrate APIs and other server-side services.
• Mentor junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high code quality and maintainability.
• Work closely with the product and design teams to translate designs into responsive and interactive web applications.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in frontend development.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in frontend development, with a proven track record of successful project management.
• Proficiency in modern frontend technologies, including ReactJS, Vite, and NextJS.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other core web technologies.
• Experience developing responsive and interactive web applications.
• Proven experience mentoring junior engineers and leading project teams.
• Ability to maintain high efficiency and quality of work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cross-platform (Electron) product development, particularly in the educational technology sector.
• Experience with HTML5 Canvas and JavaScript canvas libraries.
• Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and tools.
• Familiarity with backend technologies and databases, with the capability to work across the full stack when necessary.
