About This Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Java Engineer to design, develop and deliver scalable, high-quality cloud-native applications within a dynamic telecom environment. This role focuses on AWS-based Java development, microservices architecture, and modern CI/CD practices, working closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions.

What You’ll Do

Design, develop and implement cloud-based Java Spring Boot applications aligned with business and technical requirements
Collaborate with product owners, architects and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, provide effort estimates and deliver solutions as planned
Contribute to manual and automated build and deployment processes, including code repositories and configuration management
Apply Continuous Delivery principles using tools such as Kubernetes, AKS and Docker
Develop and maintain microservices-based solutions following established design patterns and architectural blueprints
Participate in application design using UML and other modelling techniques
Contribute to a collaborative team environment through clear communication and shared ownership

Who You Are

You have 4+ years of hands-on experience in AWS-based Java development
You bring practical experience working in cloud-native and microservices architectures, preferably within the telecom domain
You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
You have a solid understanding of design patterns, application architecture and system design principles
You communicate clearly and work effectively within diverse, cross-functional teams
You take a quality-focused, problem-solving approach to software delivery
