Pay Rate: CAD$50 - $55/HR INC

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst with 10+ years of expertise in Banking and Client Onboarding. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of KYC workflows, advanced SQL and integration skills, excellent communication capabilities, and hands-on experience with application migrations. Experience with Fenergo FenX is a significant advantage.

In this role, the candidate will lead key project workstreams—including data remediation, data and document migration, reporting, and integrations—while supporting the transition from on‑premise systems to SaaS. Responsibilities include collaborating with SMEs, vendors, and development teams to ensure requirements are met, performing data analysis using SQL, identifying issues, and driving effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities

Role

• Work with SME's and business partners to understand the assigned workstreams (Data Remediation, Data/ Document migration, Reporting, Integrations etc)
• Quickly understand the current on-prem set up and work effort and tasks to migrate over to the Saas solution.
• Join internal business and Vendor meetings and provide inputs with regards to assigned workstreams.
• Ability to multi task and understand the end-to-end flow, so value can be added in other associated workstreams as well.
• Ensure product features and solutions are implemented as per defined requirements by working closely with development team and SME's.
• Develop SQL queries to analyze data that can be used to highlight issues and seek solutions.
• Ability to prioritze, highlight blockers, escalate and provide creative solutions during the project cycle.
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• 10+ years of hands on BSA experience in an Agile/ Hybrid development environment within Banking and Client Onboarding space.
• Strong understanding of Client Onboarding, KYC and regulatory workflow set up and nuances on workflow rules and dependacies.
• Proficiency in SQL, data analysis and being tech savvy to easily understand application integrations for external data capture and downstream reporting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to bridge gap between technical and non-technical teams.
• Previous experience on application migrations (preferred on-prem to Saas)
• Fenergo - FenX experience (highly preferred)
