Your role and responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with 8-10 years of professional experience to join our cloud infrastructure and analytics platform team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, implement, and optimize a sophisticated multi-environment cloud infrastructure using modern DevOps practices and tools.

Your primary responsibility will be to understand our existing infrastructure complexity and develop strategic improvements that balance cost optimization, operational simplicity, and maintainability while maintaining high availability and performance standards.

This role is contributing to the Motion Business Service Division in Bangalore India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform with focus on modularity and reusability
Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure, including networking, storage, compute, and containerized workloads
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, ensuring efficient code deployment and release management
Architect and manage Kubernetes (AKS) deployments for containerized applications
Configure and maintain Azure DevOps agents and build systems for optimized build performance
Implement comprehensive infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions and Conduct infrastructure audits to identify optimization opportunities for cost, complexity, and maintainability
Develop strategic recommendations for infrastructure simplification and technology consolidation
Collaborate with development teams to establish best practices for containerization, deployment, and operational excellence

Qualifications for the role:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 8–10 years of hands-on DevOps and cloud infrastructure experience.
Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services including Functions, VNets, Storage, Databases, and overall cloud architecture with advanced proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
Extensive experience with Azure DevOps including Pipelines, Repositories, Build Agents, Release Management, and Service Connections.
Solid hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes (AKS), and Helm.
Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, and tools such as Azure CLI, kubectl, jq, yq, and AZcopy.
Strong knowledge of Git-based version control, branching strategies, and working with GitHub or Azure Repos.
Demonstrated ability in cloud security, secrets management (Azure Key Vault), infrastructure security assessment, cost optimization, and simplification of complex environments.
Industrial automation / automotive / traction systems background.
