About The Role

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to lead the design, operation, and continuous improvement of our enterprise mobile environment. This role supports a large, global user base and plays a critical part in ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable mobile solutions across Abbott.

You will act as a subject matter expert for mobile platforms, working closely with internal IT teams, the business, and key technology partners.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and support enterprise mobile solutions for iOS and Android
Own and manage MDM/MAM platforms such as Microsoft Intune and Workspace ONE
Ensure stability, availability, performance, and security of mobile environments
Lead mobile engineering initiatives, including new solutions and platform enhancements
Define mobile policies, configurations, and security standards
Support over 100,000+ users globally across multiple Abbott divisions
Partner with internal teams (Security, Network, Messaging, End‑User Computing)
Work closely with vendors including Microsoft, Apple, Google, Samsung, and Omnissa
Produce technical documentation, SOPs, and architecture designs
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to peers
Support critical incidents and provide leadership during crisis situations

What We’re Looking For

4–8+ years of hands‑on enterprise mobile engineering experience
Proven experience managing 20,000+ mobile devices in large environments
Strong expertise in Intune and/or Workspace ONE
Solid understanding of :

iOS and Android platforms
Apple Business Manager, Android Enterprise, Samsung Knox
Mobile security, access controls, and policy management

Ability to communicate complex technical topics to non‑technical stakeholders
Experience working in large, global, enterprise environments

Education

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience
