Role Overview

We are looking for a meticulous and business-savvy Data Analyst to own data integrity, governance, and analytics across all functional teams at Solviva. This role is central to ensuring that every department—Sales, Operations, Finance, HR, and Customer Experience—operates on clean, standardized, and interconnected data. With a dotted-line reporting relationship to the COO/CEO, this person will have the visibility and authority to understand end-to-end business processes, impose data input standards company-wide, and transform raw data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate is equal parts data steward, analyst, and internal consultant—someone who can enforce discipline while also telling compelling stories with data.

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables

1. Data Integrity & Governance

Establish and enforce company-wide data input standards, naming conventions, and validation rules across all systems (Odoo ERP, CRM, Google Sheets, Supabase, and other platforms).
Conduct regular data quality audits to identify and remediate duplicates, incomplete records, inconsistencies, and orphaned data across all functional teams.
Design and implement data governance frameworks including data dictionaries, ownership matrices, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data entry and management.
Collaborate with the Odoo ERP Specialist to enforce data validation at the system level—mandatory fields, dropdown standardization, and automated data quality checks.
Own the data cleansing backlog and drive continuous improvement to reduce garbage data entering the system.

2. Data Standardization & Integration

Standardize data formats, taxonomies, and hierarchies across all departments to ensure interoperability and seamless cross-team reporting.
Map and link data across teams (e.g., connecting Sales pipeline data to Operations project data to Finance billing data) to enable holistic business views.
Work with the technical team to design and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and integrations that ensure data flows cleanly between systems.
Maintain a single source of truth (SSOT) for key business metrics, ensuring all stakeholders reference the same data definitions and calculations.

3. Reporting & Business Intelligence

Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that provide stakeholders with real-time visibility into KPIs across Sales, Operations, Finance, and CX.
Develop standardized reporting templates and automated report generation to reduce manual reporting effort across teams.
Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable visualizations and narratives that non-technical stakeholders can easily understand and act on.
Support leadership (COO/CEO) with ad-hoc analyses, deep dives, and data-backed recommendations for strategic decisions.

4. Predictive Analytics & Forecasting

Leverage historical data to build forecasting models for key business metrics: lead conversion rates, revenue projections, installation timelines, customer churn, and operational capacity.
Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in business data to proactively flag risks and opportunities before they materialize.
Collaborate with department heads to develop scenario analyses and what-if models that support planning and resource allocation decisions.
Continuously refine predictive models based on actual outcomes to improve forecasting accuracy over time.

5. Cross-Functional Partnership & Communication

Maintain a dotted-line reporting relationship to the COO/CEO to ensure deep understanding of company-wide business processes and strategic priorities.
Partner with each functional team to understand their data needs, pain points, and reporting requirements—serving as an internal data consultant.
Lead training sessions and workshops on data hygiene, proper data entry practices, and how to leverage reports/dashboards effectively.
Advocate for a data-driven culture across the organization, ensuring that decisions at all levels are grounded in accurate, timely data.

Qualifications and Skills

Education & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 3–6+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or data governance roles, preferably in a cross-functional or enterprise-wide capacity.
Track Record: Proven experience establishing data quality standards and governance frameworks in organizations with multiple departments or business units.
Leadership Exposure: Experience working directly with C-suite or senior leadership to deliver insights and influence business strategy.

Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency in SQL and at least one data analysis language (Python or R).
Experience with BI/visualization tools such as Google Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, or Metabase.
Proficiency in spreadsheet tools (Google Sheets/Excel) including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling.
Familiarity with ERP/CRM data structures (Odoo preferred) and relational database concepts.
Experience with ETL tools, data pipelines, or integration platforms (n8n, Airbyte, or similar) is a plus.
Working knowledge of statistical methods, regression analysis, and forecasting techniques.

Nice to Have

Experience in the renewable energy, utilities, or real estate industries.
Familiarity with Odoo reporting, Supabase, or PostgreSQL databases.
Experience with machine learning or advanced predictive modeling.
Background in data engineering or data architecture.
Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance frameworks.
