Shall be focused on the assessment and analysis of Caliraya-Botocan-Kalayaan power plant electrical, instrumentation and control systems, sub-systems, equipment, components and/or power plant processes to ensure that required asset functions and performance are available on demand, minimizing downtime and maximizing dependability through proactive design, failure root cause analysis, and cost-effective maintenance interventions throughout and in accordance with the assets lifecycle.
Shall provide technical inputs, recommendations and oversight on the proper and accurate implementation of asset management systems and processes deployed for Caliraya-Botocan-Kalayaan by Aboitiz Renewable Inc.
Shall project manage and provide technical oversight assigned projects and/or initiatives with the goal of achieving the approved quality, time, cost and performance.
Asset Management
- Review gaps between existing and recommended asset management strategies of the approved asset life cycle management plan. Proactively evaluate and optimize existing procedures, formulating a detailed roadmap for the transition of maintenance programs towards cost effective reliability and long term sustainability.
- Performance Management: Establish and diligently oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) pertaining to maintenance and reliability. Define incremental i performance targets and employ analytical tools for monitoring and evaluation. Standardize diverse operational practices across all Renewable Energy Business Units into a unified, global RE platform, significantly improving reporting accuracy and efficiency. Ensure the alignment of objectives with measurable outcomes, consistently identifying areas requiring enhancement and implementing standardized processes to rectify performance deficits. This will be integrated within the broader Asset Management strategic framework.
- Process Governance: Oversee the management of reliability-centric asset management processes, including but not limited to Lifecycle Management, Asset Criticality Analysis (ACA), Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), and Equipment Criticality Analysis (ECA). Ensure these processes meet organizational objectives as outlined within the RE Asset Management Plans. This encompasses achieving an optimal balance among cost, performance, and risk.
- Technology Management: Support and oversee the implementation of Asset Performance Management (APM). Conduct ongoing assessments and monitoring of asset performance under APM, initiating the implementation of APM on key assets as identified in the maintenance strategy assessments. Facilitate the seamless integration of APM into maintenance workflows, ensuring the security and integrity of data. Verify and maintain APM compliance with all internal and external regulations, policies, and identified standards.
TECHNICAL INCIDENT MANAGEMENT
- Incident Resolution: Lead the governance of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and comprehensive technical incident management processes across all renewable energy technologies. Implement standardized incident resolution and RCA tools, ensuring transparency, quality, and fairness. Confirm that all identified root causes are addressed with corresponding action items managed effectively by designated owners. Integrate meticulous monitoring, reporting, and improvement plans for technical incidents into operational planning to proactively manage "bad actors" and implement preventative measures.
- Data Management Strategy: Formulate and execute a robust data management strategy for asset reliability data. Leverage advanced analytics and digital technologies to generate actionable insights and engineer-driven solutions for plant technical challenges. Enforce data-related policies to strategically guide planning and operations, prioritizing requirements based on asset management perspectives. Continuously innovate and deploy initiatives that expedite data analytics, selecting the optimal toolset to provide a blend of historical and predictive analysis for optimized Renewable Energy Business Unit strategies.
BUSINESS MANAGEMENT PROJECT RELIABILITY
- Project Oversight: Establish and enforce comprehensive maintenance programs. Conduct thorough project reviews to ensure complete alignment with asset management goals. Develop and recommend detailed maintenance strategies to maximize their lifecycle value. Regularly evaluate maintenance activities if aligned with asset lifecycle plan and facilitate efficient transitions between maintenance phases, optimizing OPEX and asset reliability. Conduct business case analyses for asset replacements or upgrades, ensuring alignment with long-term RE objectives and profitability.
- Technical Review: Serve as the principal peer reviewer for all technical Management of Change (MOC) proposals related to plant assets. Ensure asset management principles and logic are applied during technical reviews, aligning with organizational goals. Conduct comprehensive screenings to identify redundant projects, projects inconsistent with digitalization strategies, solutions of substandard quality, and other proposals that would not positively contribute to asset management and RE objectives.
