Project Role : Data Engineer

Project Role Description : Design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL (extract, transform and load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems.

Minimum 3 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Skills must have :

3+ years of hands-on experience developing and designing strong Ab initio based Solutions

Ability to demonstrate knowledge in advanced concepts such as parallelism,performance tunning, debugging

Sound knowledge and experience in various ab initio products like GDE,EME,Express IT

Experience in components like Rollup, Scan, join, Normalize , lookups and MFS concepts

Good knowledge in m commands and various air commands

Ability to troubleshoot various problems/errors encountered by federated teams while developing Ab initio based ETL applications.

Complex hands-on work in Ab initio GDE, troubleshooting any Ab initio related problem/error

Ability to adapt and learn new concepts across different applications using different Ab initio functionalities

Ability to lead conversation with business teams to understand and get right requirement to apply it for developing expected solutions in Ab initio.

Assisting changes in SIT,UAT and Business Go-live activities which include inputs to other teams Production support, Change team etc

Working knowledge in scheduling tools like TWS

Strong knowledge of database and database concepts.

Good working exposure in unix shell scripting covering basic unix commands and scripting knowledge

must have SQL – (Teradata /Oracle/SQL Server) : Advanced ,Data Warehousing Concepts, ETL Tools (Ab Initio ) ,Unix Commands ,Shell Scripting or any other script language like Python,Testing Concepts, Analytical Skills, Domain Knowledge ,

Nice to have :

Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written.

Experience in banking domain

Fair knowledge in AWS Expertise & Automation, 15 years full time education
