Role Overview

Join the Alibaba Cloud Global Services Division as a Technical Architecture Engineer. In this role, you will act as a key technical consultant, empowering international enterprise customers by delivering robust cloud solutions, managing complex migrations, and ensuring the seamless implementation of Public Cloud projects. You will bridge the gap between hands-on technical troubleshooting and strategic project delivery for our FY26-Q4 Global Business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Delivery & Support: Provide expert-level technical support for Alibaba Cloud users, specializing in complex troubleshooting and the delivery of high-performance technical solutions.
• Cloud Implementation: Lead deployment and migration workstreams according to project service SOWs, ensuring high-quality execution and timely completion of tasks.
• Technical Consulting: Analyze intricate technical scenarios, track resolution progress, and summarize customer usage patterns to maintain world-class documentation.
• Operational Excellence: Drive team efficiency by optimizing internal processes and implementing automation tools.
• Client Engagement: Partner directly with customers on-site (requiring 30%–50% regional travel) to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in cloud platform development, technical support, or cloud architecture.
• Core Systems: Deep understanding of Linux system architecture, including command-line proficiency.
• Programming: Strong fundamentals with proficiency in at least one language: Java, Go, or Python.
• Cloud Native: Familiarity with modern infrastructure, including Kubernetes (K8s) and Docker.
• Infrastructure Knowledge: Solid grasp of core services such as DNS, NTP, YUM, and Firewall configurations.
• Competencies: Exceptional problem-solving skills, high technical sensitivity, and a strong awareness of risk management.
• Communication: Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English is mandatory to support our global customer base.
