Looking for an experienced software engineer to join the cloud engines group at Alteryx. If you have worked on scalable/distributed data processing systems and are passionate about cloud technologies, this is the right opportunity for you. You will play a key role in building the core execution layer for all the applications in the Alteryx analytics cloud with some of the industry's best peers and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Build deep knowledge and expertise of cloud-scale distributed data processing systems such as Databricks, Dataflow, BigQuery, and Snowflake.
• Propose and implement standards of engineering discipline, developer collaboration, and software quality.
• Write elegant, scalable, and efficient code.
• Design, build and evolve horizontally scalable and efficient data processing architectures for the Cloud/SaaS world.
• Lead large complexity features end to end while working with junior engineers.
  
  

Requirements

• 4+ Years of software development experience in Java/Scala based stacks.
• 2+ Experience working on scalable distributed systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• 1+ Years of Experience working with cloud ecosystems.
• Experience leading/mentoring junior engineers.
• Knowledge of NodeJS is a strong plus.
