Our team owns services that enable customers to track and control their deliveries on Amazon retail sites. As a member of this team, you will design and develop software to collaborate with Amazon’s numerous backend systems and directly impact customers. Your solutions will provide the data needed to anticipate and resolve customer's questions before they are asked. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with business partners and guide the design of our systems. At Amazon, we are known for our customer obsession. Key job responsibilities

The ideal candidate for this role has strong experience in designing and developing scalable high-performance systems and services that are flexible, reliable, and maintainable. You have excellent problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, and a customer-focused mindset. You take pragmatic and iterative approach to building software: you have an ability to simplify and get things done with a demonstrated track record of building and delivering software and working effectively with external and internal teams. Our systems and algorithms operate on one of the world's largest product catalogs and it is quite routine for our systems to operate on massive datasets using distributed frameworks.

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• 3+ years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development, Release, or Live Ops) experience
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
