Analyze, Design, Develop, And Maintain Mainframe Applications On IBM Z/OS PlatformPerform Application Development And Support Using COBOL, JCL, REXX/CLISTWork Extensively With TSO/ISPF For Debugging, Testing, And Code ManagementDevelop And Maintain Batch And Online Programs Using DB2, VSAM, CICS, IMSConduct Impact Analysis For Changes And Enhancements In Legacy SystemsLeverage GenAI Tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Enterprise LLMs) For

Code understanding, refactoring, and optimization
Automated documentation and knowledge extraction
Test case and job flow generation

Assist in modernizing legacy applications using AI-driven insightsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, testers, and DevOpsEnsure performance, reliability, security, and compliance with mainframe standardsParticipate in production support, root cause analysis, and incident resolution

All you need is...

Technical Skills

Strong experience on IBM z/OS environment
Proficiency in:

COBOL
JCL
REXX / CLIST
TSO/ISPF

Hands-on experience with:

DB2
VSAM
CICS
IMS (DB/DC)

Good understanding of batch and online job processing
Familiarity with source control and SDLC practices in mainframe environments

GenAI & Modern Skills

Working knowledge of Generative AI tools (Copilot, LLM-based assistants)
Ability to apply AI tools for:

Code analysis and modernization
Productivity improvement and automation

Exposure to modernization concepts, API enablement, or hybrid mainframe-cloud models is a plus

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and documentation abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to learn and adopt emerging technologies

Preferred (Good To Have)

Experience in mainframe modernization or AI-assisted development initiatives
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Exposure to Python or scripting for automation (optional)
