JOB TITLE: Principal Solutions Architect

Job Summary

A Principal Solutions Architect at Argano provides strategic direction and oversee the integration of emerging data platforms and tools and usually works on significant and unique issues. They require a high level of technical expertise. They architect complex and large-scale solutions, including creating detailed architectural diagrams and specifications. They develop models that illustrate how a product/solution provides value to customers and they will manage and prioritize the flow of work starting with idea intake, analysis, definition, backlog, and through the build and delivery phase. Having broad expertise or unique knowledge, uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways.

Responsibilities

• Architect complex and large-scale solutions, including creating detailed architectural diagrams and specifications.
• Ensures the highest quality solution designs and implementation.
• Architect complex and large-scale solutions, including creating detailed architectural diagrams and specifications.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their strategic goals, and aligning technical solutions, accordingly, produces technical and software specification documentation that allows remote development teams to implement solutions as designed.
• Oversee quality assurance processes and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
• Manage and prioritize the flow of work starting with idea intake, analysis, definition, backlog, and through the build and delivery phase.
• Provide direction to internal project teams during the configuration and test phase to meet the proposed solution.
• Project team coaching, mentorship, governance around best practices.
• Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. Exercises independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
• Leverage market research, design thinking, and continuous exploration to understand customer and market needs.
  
  

Education

MINIMUM AND/OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology/Systems, Software Engineering or a related field is expected.
  
  

Experience

• 10 - 15 years of extensive experience in Technology or Professional Services.
• Experience as a Software Engineer/Architect working on industrial strength software and a proven track record of technically leading commercially successful software products.
• Experience with at least 3 implementation projects as Solution Architect role.
• Experience in various levels of Engineering and Professional Services including design, development and implementation of projects.
