About the Role:

• Role: Java Software Engineer
• Location: Costa Rica (Remote)
• Employment Type: Contract

We are seeking a Senior Java Engineer with strong experience in building scalable microservices and

APIs. The ideal candidate has a solid background in modern backend development and is comfortable

working in cloud based environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to deliver high quality, scalable solutions

• Develop and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, and API tests) to ensure code quality

and reliability

• Participate in cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines

• Contribute to system architecture and performance optimization

Required Skills:

• 5–7 years of experience in backend development

• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks

• Experience with Microservices architecture and API development

• Exposure to GraphQL and Server-Driven UI concepts

• Hands on experience with Cloud platforms and CI/CD tools

• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and test automation
