Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Document Management System)

Selected candidate will be offered a direct 2 year contract employment.

As a Platform Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Document Management Systems (DMS), you will be a pivotal member of a high-impact GovTech project team. Collaborating closely with Project Managers, Cloud Architects, and Technical Consultants, you will design and deliver mission-critical ICT capabilities that empower public sector efficiency. This role involves rotational 24/7 standby support and planned after-office hours maintenance or patching activities; candidates should be comfortable with such optional requirements.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will bridge the gap between technical infrastructure and business requirements, ensuring our document management solutions are robust, scalable, and user-centric. Your key responsibilities include:

• Administration: Manage enterprise-grade Document Management Systems to streamline organizational content and document lifecycles.
• Requirements Analysis: Lead stakeholder workshops and requirements-gathering sessions to translate complex business workflows into functional and design specifications.
• Quality Assurance: Define validation and acceptance criteria; rigorously review system integration testing and data conversion processes to ensure high-standard delivery.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Perform deep-dive root cause analysis and collaborate with developers to resolve complex technical issues, implementing preventive measures to optimize performance.
  
  
  

We are looking for a proactive professional who balances technical depth with a strategic mindset.

Technical Qualifications:

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer/Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Document Management Expertise: At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText Document Management Systems and/or Microsoft SharePoint.
• Web Standards: Strong understanding of general web functions, security principles, session management, and mobile-responsive design.

• Strategic Thinking: Ability to toggle between a broad strategic perspective and technical granular details.
• Communication & Influence: Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to pitch innovative ideas and influence senior stakeholders.
