Job Requirements

We are looking for a Data Engineer to structure and unify data across sources, ensuring high-quality, well-governed pipelines and a robust analytics data warehouse. You’ll work closely with product, SDE, and data teams to power ML-driven insights and enable accurate, segmentation-led decision making.

The Job

Atlys is a product-led but data-enabled company.
We’ve used data at every inflexion point to make better decisions, and the requirement comes from across the board.
The requirement for a Data Engineer, is to take the above to the next level by:
Structuring the DB schema coming from different sources
Integrating Data coming from multiple sources (ex Ad Platforms) for better Data Quality and Governance
Working on ML Driven Data Products along with other SDEs and Data Team to give a accurate segmentation based insights
Owning all ETL pipelines and the analytics DW for any new and/or old pipelines

The Ideal Candidate

Experience with Python and FastAPI is a must (can be any other BE framework or language too i.e. GoLang, NodeJS).
You need to be an SQL nerd, basically know everything around DML and DDL, how OLTP or OLAP works.
1-3 Years of experience building Data Pipelines, ETL, and DBA.
A fundamental understanding of LLMs is good to have.
Experience with Postgres and clickhouse is preferred.
More than anything, you need to be a little bit passionate about how Data works, and how to utilize it for better decision-making, wherein your role would be more around the ingestion of that data.
