Job Description

Senior Manager – Cloud Marketplace Growth & Digital Sales (AI-Powered)

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Reporting to: Head of Enterprise Marketplace

Function: Marketplace Marketing | Digital Sales | Growth Programs


Role Purpose

The Senior Manager – Cloud Marketplace Growth & Digital Sales is responsible for executing and scaling AI-powered digital sales and marketing initiatives to drive product adoption, pipeline, and revenue across AG Marketplace as well as partner marketplaces such as Azure Marketplace, Salesforce AppExchange, and other strategic ecosystems.

This role owns the AI-driven digital sales channel and marketplace growth programs, converting marketplace traffic into qualified opportunities and closed deals, while working closely with Product, Sales, Alliances, and Partner teams.


Key Responsibilities

1. AI-Powered Digital Sales Channel

• Own and operate AI-powered digital sales channels including AI sales agents, chatbots, and automation workflows.

• Manage automated lead qualification, routing, follow-ups, and nurturing journeys.

• Optimize end-to-end digital sales flows from marketplace discovery to sales handoff.

• Align AI agents with CRM and sales processes to improve speed-to-lead and conversion rates.


2. Marketplace Growth Execution

• Execute growth initiatives across AG Marketplace and partner marketplaces such as Azure and Salesforce.

• Optimize marketplace listings, messaging, pricing, bundles, and promotions.

• Drive trial-to-paid conversion and support co-sell motions with platform partners.


3. Digital Marketing & Demand Programs

• Plan and execute performance-driven digital campaigns focused on marketplace adoption and revenue.

• Run partner-led and joint GTM campaigns with hyperscaler and ISV partners.

• Ensure all campaigns are conversion- and pipeline-focused rather than vanity-metric driven.


4. Adoption & Lifecycle Marketing

• Design onboarding and activation programs to improve product adoption.

• Execute usage-based and lifecycle campaigns to drive retention, upsell, and cross-sell.

• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to expand revenue via marketplaces.


5. Analytics & Performance Management

• Track marketplace-sourced leads, pipeline, revenue, and conversion metrics.

• Measure AI sales agent effectiveness and campaign ROI.

• Provide regular performance reports and insights to the Head of Marketplace.


6. Team & Stakeholder Management

• Manage and mentor a small team covering digital sales operations and marketplace marketing.

• Act as the execution bridge between strategy, sales, product, and partner teams.

• Ensure timely and outcome-driven delivery of marketplace initiatives.


Success Measures (12 Months)

• Growth in AG Marketplace and partner marketplace adoption.

• Increase in marketplace-sourced pipeline and revenue.

• Improved conversion rates through AI-powered digital sales channels.

• Reduced lead response time and improved deal velocity.


Required Experience & Skills

• 8–12 years of experience in B2B digital marketing, growth, or digital sales.

• Hands-on experience with cloud marketplaces such as Azure Marketplace or Salesforce AppExchange.

• Proven track record in pipeline- and revenue-driven marketing.

• Experience deploying or managing AI-powered sales or marketing automation.

• Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS and platform GTM models.
