Overview Of The Role

As a Development Engineer - BackEnd Technologies, you will actively contribute to development activities by writing clean, efficient code for multiple applications and conducting tests to enhance system functionality. You will have the opportunity to engage in technical discussions, gaining valuable insights and broadening your expertise.

Job Responsibilities

Understand the business requirements thoroughly to ensure the developed software aligns with the business needs.
Develop and maintain code to support system stability in production and resolve any defects that surfaced.
Work with a micro-services architecture environment to create modular and maintainable software.
Convert technical design into efficient, scalable and maintainable code.
Engage in planning, designing, and technical discussions.
Maintain applications and provide support as needed.
Contribute to sessions and meetings to help translate business requirements
Ensure all implemented solutions meet the quality standards and pass all relevant test.
Collaboration with the team and achieving team goals within sprints
Use learning platforms and resources available to further develop professional and technical skills.

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
3-5 years of hands-on experience in Java (version 8 or higher), with a deep understanding of Core Java and OOPS concepts.
Experience in Spring framework such as Spring boot , Spring Data and have basic understanding of Micro-services-based applications.
Good knowledge of Design patterns, MultiThreading, Data structures & Algorithms.
Skilled in implementing RESTful APIs to optimise application performance.
Solid knowledge of databases: MS SQL, PostgreSQL , Mongo DB ( good to have).
Experience in debugging and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues effectively.
Work in an agile development environment.
Familiarity with cross functional domains such as FrontEnd and DevOps.
Excellent communication skills and possess strong problem-solving skills.
