Lead Software Engineer

About the Job

[The Lead Software Engineer will work with respective business users, business analysts,

project managers and other stakeholders and take ownership to ensure the overall delivery of

project, system enhancement and initiatives based on the committed project timelines and

quality.]

Lead and mentor a team of developers (internal staff and external vendors) in

delivering robust 1 Sign On (SSO) solutions aligned with business needs.

Own the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of SSO applications,ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and best practices.

Conduct technical presentations and discussions with Business and IT stakeholders to communicate design decisions, progress, and challenges.

Collaborate with Project Managers to plan, prioritize, and manage project deliverables and BAU (Business-As-Usual) tasks effectively.

Work closely with Business Analysts to validate business requirements and translate them into clear, actionable technical specifications.

Ensure all technical and architectural documentation is comprehensive, accurate, and consistently updated.

Oversee task distribution, resource allocation, and progress tracking within the technical team to ensure timely and quality delivery.]

We are looking for people with

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.

• Minimum 10 years of experience in application development & delivery.

• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development

• Processes great attitude and strong personality.

• Proficient in Access Management, Identity Management, with a good knowledge of respective ecosystems.

• Must have extensive knowledge and experience (at least 7 years) in implementing 1-Sign-on solutions, 2FA (2nd Factor Authentication) integrations.

• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.

• Solid understanding of OIDC (Open ID Direct Connect), OAuth, SAML2 frameworks.

• Experienced in Service-oriented architecture, RESTful web-service.

• Experience with one or more application servers such as IBM Websphere, Oracle

• Experience with Security products that provides SSO, Identity and Access Management solutions (eg. IBM Verify Identity Access, CA SSO, ForgeRock IAM, etc).

• Proficient and hand-on experience on LDAP (IBM Security Directory Service, OpenLDAP, Weblogic.Proficient and hand-on experience on IBM DB2 and HADR setup.Proficient in Active Directory.

• Proficient in Java Scripting.

• Ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment with minimum direction and management oversight.
