Mid/Sr. Automation QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

Successful candidate will be part of the global QA organization responsible for automating testing framework and test cases to our entire product solution which includes embedded software testing, system testing, and/or Software Defined Network (SDN) platform testing.

The candidate will need to identify software application weaknesses and target areas suitable for automation. He/she will be implementing automation scripts and solutions for the products being developed.

• Interface with different engineering teams in completing all assigned testing, whether manual or automated, according to schedule.
• Prepare clear and insightful written documentation as needed by the different stakeholders.
• Work with geographically dispersed development and QA teams.

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Electronics, Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 5-8 years of relevant testing automation experience.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in Python is required.
• Working experience in Web GUI, API and Cloud automation/scripting (Selenium, Postman, Cucumber).
• Working experience with automation framework such as Robot framework is a plus
• Experienced with developing or testing Service Provider/Enterprise switch products / CPEs and cloud platform solutions.
• Knowledgeable in API testing, back-end services.
• Prior experience in creating and testing databases is a plus.
• Knowledgeable in TCP/IP, BGP, DHCP, SNMP, MPLS is preferred.
• Experience in networking tools such Wireshark, iXia, Spirent is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience of testing concepts and methodologies including agile methodology, test case creation, bug fixing and test reporting.
• Must be highly flexible to adapt and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Being self-motivated, dedicated, focused, and able to meet demanding project schedules with minimal supervision.
• Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Possess good analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
• Strong English Language skills, verbal and written.
