QA Engineer (Manual, Automation)

A/ QA MANUAL ENGINEER - ONSITE IN HCMC

1/ Job Description

• Create and validate test data for functional components of software applications. 

• Communicate and collaborate with other departments to analyze testing requirements. 

• Scheduling, launching and controlling performance of all Quality Assurance activities. 

• Create, write and execute test cases and plans for manual and automation tests. 

• Responsible for full software lifecycle testing, inclusive writing test documentation, estimation reports and completion reports. 

2/ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.

• At least 3 years of software testing.

• Having good knowledge of the Insurance domain is beneficial.

• Experience in database (DB) testing and in writing simple to medium complexity SQL queries.

• Experience in testing mobile applications, API testing (manual or automated with POSTMAN or a similar tool) or performance testing with JMeter is an advantage.

• Having good knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and testing principles.

• Strong knowledge of Agile/ SCRUM.

• Good knowledge of software testing processes, software testing strategies and testing techniques.

• Willing to learn, ready to ask team members and stakeholders proactively about issues or problems.

• Proactive, creative, enthusiastic, responsible at work, strong analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read/write documents in English.

1/ Job Description

• Build & maintain automation tests (Web/API).

• Design test cases and test plans.

• Collaborate with developers to ensure product quality

2/ Requirements

• 3+ years of QA experience with automation testing.

• Experience with tools: Selenium, Postman, JMeter, SoapUI (or equivalent).

• Experience testing Web & APIs.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum process.

• Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, …).

• Good English communication.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Java or scripting.

• Experience with CI/CD
