DATA SCIENCE OFFICER

Job Summary

The Data Science Officer is responsible for developing analytical models and delivering data-driven solutions using statistical analysis, machine learning, and advanced analytics. The role applies data science methodologies to solve complex business problems and generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement analytical models using statistical analysis, machine learning, and advanced analytics techniques
Perform exploratory data analysis, data mining, and quantitative analysis including forecasting, optimization, segmentation, and predictive modeling
Build, deploy, and support analytical models using cloud-based tools and platforms, including AWS services
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions and support end-to-end project delivery
Prepare data visualizations, analytical reports, and presentations to communicate insights and model outputs to stakeholders

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
At least 2 to 4 years of experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, or related analytical roles
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL, with experience in data visualization and analytical reporting tools
Solid understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning concepts, and data science methodologies
Strong communication and collaboration skills, preferably with experience in cloud-based analytics tools and exposure to the banking or financial services industry
