Job Description

We are looking for an Application Support Consultant – DevOps / Infra to ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of our ERP application environment. You will provide incident responses & production support, perform deployments, monitor systems, do automation & support enablement and work closely with development and infrastructure teams to deliver a high-availability service. You will essentially be a DevOps Engineer working in a product support team. You will not own product code, but own production stability, root cause analysis, monitoring and automation

What should you have?

Strong experience providing advanced application and infrastructure support, ensuring issues are resolved within agreed SLAs.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve performance issues, system errors, application slowness, and integration failures.
Hands-on experience in incident and problem management, including root cause analysis, documentation, and implementation of permanent corrective actions.
Practical skills in scripting and automation (e.g. SQL, JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, Perl) to optimize and streamline support workflows.
Experience in application monitoring, logging, alerting, and proactive issue detection using tools such as Dynatrace or Datadog.
Solid background in deployment and infrastructure support, including patching, hotfixes, upgrades, and post-deployment troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of SQL Server administration, UAT environments, access management, and database maintenance activities.
Experience supporting disaster recovery (DR) exercises and system maintenance activities.
Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with Infrastructure, Development, and DevOps teams to improve system stability and service availability.
Exposure to CI/CD practices, release stability improvements, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What do you need to qualify?

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
At least 3 years of experience in DevOps and/or in IT infrastructure
Experience with System Administration in Windows Server
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, logging, and Monitoring stack and automation practices
Proficiency in scripting like SQL, JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, Perl
Strong hands-on experience with:

>Virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V)

>Cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP) [Good to have]

>Networking fundamentals

Experience supporting enterprise or custom in-house applications
Experience with installing and configuring MS SQL Server and good knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) queries
Exposure to ERP systems is an advantage
Knowledge of ITIL processes
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Willing to be on 24 / 7 standby phone rotation
